Class assembly/play script including song lyrics and links to songs/dance on youtube. The script has a literacy link of fairytales, IPC theme of castles and introduces the idea of inner beauty for PSHE. It is a comedy version of Sleeping Beauty, appropriate for year 2 to year 6. My friend borrowed this for her y6 leavers assembly and they loved it!

A great assembly all about space, aimed at ks2 or upper ks1. It contains 2 songs and a dance with youtube links. Printable S-P-A-C-E lettering for the children to hold up in assembly. There is also an optional powerpoint, just add pictures of your kids or their artwork of the planets. Enjoy, this is such a fun assembly which the kids and audience will LOVE!

Display this powerpoint at the end of a lesson. It shows symbols used for self assessment and a range of sentence starters for pupils to record in their books for both self and peer assessment. The sentence starters are general and should be applicable to all subjects. Saves a lot of time rather than recording red pen questions for individual children.

Simple y2 targets, I send these home with parents at the start of the year and also circle two from each column during parent's evenings for parents to work on at home. I stick a copy of each at the from of my children's books at the start of the year so they know my expectations for them by the end. In order to track their targets we highlight each box as s the achieve it, you can also stick a star on it and date it each time you are aware the target has been achieved. This has made my life so much easier!

Assembly script all about the 3 little pigs...with a twist ending. Great literacy link as the script is written using rhyming couplets. I taught Roald Dahl's animal poems alongside traditonal tales before this assembly. Wonderful unit!

Colour coded assessment work sheet. Appropriate for all of primary school, but particularly nice to introduce self/peer assessment to KS1. I did this half termly in KS1 and stuck into into their books and after random lessons with ks2.

Assembly all about the romans, involves a lot of acting and has a line for each child. My year 3 class really enjoyed this and the whole school were interested in Romans the rest of the week. Approriate for y2-y6! Enjoy :)

A series of tables with learning intentions for core subjects with a thumb scale. Children colour in or circle the thumb which relfects how they think they did on the subject. Includes blanks tables for you to add lesson specific targets, great for lesson observations. With y2 and up I have used these as my success criteria,giving the children a blank table and they hand write the criteria from the board. At the end of the lesson the quickly self assess it.

An assembly all the world’s best snack. This class assembly looks at the cocoa bean’s journey to chocolate. It introduces the idea of fair trade benefiting farmers and communities. It includes some acting and one song with a youtube link to lyrics and dance moves. Appropriate for a capable y2 class and up. Enjoy :)

An assembly script for y2-y6. The classic tale of Jack and the beanstalk with acting or speaking parts for everyone in the class.

Such a fun lesson! As art of teaching microhabitats my class and I created one large bug hotel in our garden area, it could also be done in any forest area nearby, but the closer the better as you can visit and investigate the bugs and which environment they’re most drawn too. Included is a brief powerpoint encouraging the children with ideas of what it may look like and natural environments for different types of insects. I would send the parental letter out a week or two before so they can help out with the items needed. Enjoy!

Fun board game for learning new vocabulary and recognising words which have a silent ‘h’. Lesson plan included to give you ideas and explain how to play. I would recomend printing the game on a3 and laminating, this got me my first ‘outstanding’ in lesson and kids really love learning the new words! Enjoy!

Simple board game consisting of ks1 tricky words. I’ve used this in so many different ways; you can divide kids up into colours and in turns ask them read all of the words in that colour. you can play as a normal board game with dice you can play with HA children not just reading the word but putting it into a sentence you can make it a guided reading or literacy lesson by asking the children to write a sentence using the word they land on I have even used this as an assessment lesson in year 2 when I first got to know my class, it allowed me to find out where they were but also have fun with them.
